The role of flat wave reactors
2023-04-14
Flat wave reactors: Flat wave reactors are used in the DC circuit after rectification. The number of pulses in a rectified circuit is always limited and there is always ripple in the output rectified voltage. This ripple is often harmful and needs to be suppressed by a flat-wave reactor. Converter stations for DC transmission are equipped with flat-wave reactors so that the output DC is close to the ideal DC. Flat-wave reactors are also indispensable in thyristor electrical drives for DC supply.
The flat wave reactor is an important component in the rectifier circuit and in the IF power supply the main functions are
1, limit the short-circuit current, (inverter thyristor phase change at the same time on the equivalent of the rectifier bridge load direct short circuit) without reactor is a direct short circuit.
2, inhibit the impact of the IF component on the frequency grid.
3, the role of filtering (rectifier current with AC components; high-frequency AC is not easy to pass through large inductors) so that the rectifier output waveform is continuous, such as discontinuous, there will be a time when the current is zero, when the inverter bridge stops working, resulting in the phenomenon of rectifier bridge open circuit.
4, the input power of the parallel inverter circuit has a reactive component of the throughput, the input circuit of the inverter bridge must have energy storage components reactor.
