Product Introduction

 

 

◇ Rated voltage: 0.25 to 0.85 KV;

◇ Capacity range: 5 to 40kvar.

◇ Cylindrical housing, crimped (type M), bolted (type N)

 

◇ Widely used in 50Hz or 60Hz power systems to provide reactive power compensation, improve voltage quality and increase the efficiency of transformer use.

 

 

Features

◇ Cylindrical aluminium housing with a specially crafted surface, rust and corrosion resistant, tinned copper screw or crimped lead-in;

◇ Fully dry design with a compact and rational internal structure, 1/3 to 1/2 the size of conventional products;

◇ Unique dry overpressure explosion-proof technology, state-of-the-art in terms of safety, with capacitor failure manifested only as an open circuit;

◇ Design and manufacturing process synchronized with Europe, product performance is stable and reliable

◇ Self-discharge function, after 3 minutes of power failure, the voltage can be reduced to less than 75V. Secondary protection capacitors can be selected according to the customer's requirements (1 minute on special request, need to specify when ordering).

 

Security technology

Each capacitor is protected by an independent over-pressure safety device, due to damage to the polypropylene film capacitor in the compensation system Fuses, circuit breakers fail to provide adequate protection, when the capacitor is overheated, over-voltage, over-current or when the capacitor reaches the end of its damaged life, a large amount of gas will be generated inside the capacitor and the pressure will increase rapidly, when the face cover is under pressure and rises to a certain height, the terminal block is disconnected from the internal connection line, thus disconnecting the power to the capacitor and preventing further expansion of the fault.

 Note: When mounting the capacitor, leave a 40mm space at the top and the connecting wires should be long enough to ensure a flexible space.

1、 There are no obvious (single higher power or certain number of low power non-linear loads) harmonic sources in the power system.

2、 Total harmonic distortion rate of current THDi≦5%

3、 When the total harmonic distortion rate of current is 5%≦THDi≦15%, the rated voltage level of the compensation capacitor should be increased.

Important factors affecting the life of a capacitor

Harmonics in the grid, high harmonic volumes directly causing damage to capacitors, over-voltage long-term operation, high ambient temperature, etc. (capacitor life halved for every 10% increase in voltage or 5 to 7 degrees in temperature)
